The pilot was free, and then episode 3 turned up with a price tag. This page adds up what that tag means across Candy Shorts, plan by plan and series by series.
Candy AI pricing 2026: the three Premium plans
On October 19, 2026, the Candy.ai plans page offered Premium in three terms. The 12-month plan is the cheap seat: $47.88 for the year, shown as $3.99 a month, with a "70% OFF" badge against a struck-through $13.99. The 3-month plan runs $8.99 a month, billed $26.97 per quarter, tagged "35% OFF". The monthly plan opens with a $9.99 first month, tagged "29% OFF", and then renews at $13.99.

Check the badges against the arithmetic, because that is what a critic does with a sale sign. They hold up. Twelve months at $13.99 comes to $167.88, so the annual plan saves $120. Three months at $13.99 is $41.97, so the quarterly plan saves $15. The checkout page shows the Candy AI price that counts.
Candy AI Premium is a platform bundle with a TV channel inside it. The same fee also covers building your own AI girlfriend, generating 18+ videos and images, a Full Live Action Experience and unlimited text messages, and it carries 100 tokens a month. Candy AI Shorts tokens price: 12, 30 or 50 per episode
Tokens are the currency inside Candy Shorts. On October 19, 2026, an episode after the free pair cost 12 tokens in 136 of the 164 series, 30 tokens in 23 (the creator series and a few Spicy ones) and 50 tokens in five Spicy creator series. Premium's 100 tokens a month therefore buy eight episodes at 12 tokens, three at 30 or two at 50, and that is the monthly limit on Candy AI tokens in practice.
Premium is priced per plan, not per episode, so the useful number is the fee divided by what 100 tokens unlock. Split the plan fee across eight 12-token episodes and you get about 50 cents each on the annual plan, $1.12 on the quarterly one, $1.25 in a first month and $1.75 once the monthly plan renews at $13.99. I charge the whole fee to the Shorts, which is the harshest way to count, because Premium also pays for chat and the generators.
Spicy series add one rule. They stay locked without Premium, including episodes 1 and 2, and with Premium those two cost 0 tokens. For the Spicy shelf of Candy Shorts, Premium is the admission ticket and a free account is the lobby.
What finishing a Candy Shorts series costs
Most series are short. Of the 164 series counted on October 19, 2026, 147 had five episodes, so the usual bill is three paid episodes. The long runs are where the meter spins: 34 episodes for My bestie betrayed me, 30 for YES MA'AM and 15 for three more titles. The table runs the numbers for six series on this site, against the 100 tokens a month that come with Premium.

Read the last column like a binge-watcher. A five-episode series at 12 tokens costs 36, so one month of Premium finishes two of them and leaves 28 tokens. The 30-token creator series swallow 90 of the 100. The 50-token Spicy runs and the long entries take two to four months of allowance, and four months is $55.96 at the full monthly price or $15.96 at the annual plan's $3.99, though that plan bills $47.88 up front. How to cancel Candy AI subscription before it renews
A Candy Shorts subscription renews on its own for the same price and term, and the offer on October 19, 2026 said you can cancel any time. A 12-month plan therefore returns at $47.88 for another year, and the monthly plan returns at $13.99. You cancel from your account settings. Put the renewal date in your calendar the day you subscribe; that one habit prevents most of the regret.
As of September 24, 2026, the statement line reads EverAI, so search your bank history for that name rather than Candy. Who stands behind it, and whether paying it is safe, sits in the legit and safety guide.
Refunds are narrower than cancellation. Section 10.4 of the Terms of Service, revised September 22, 2026, gives card purchases outside the EU and UK a 24-hour window, and a request is denied once more than 20 tokens have been used. That line is easy to cross: one 12-token episode stays under it, two do not, and a single 30-token creator episode crosses it alone. Inside the EU and UK, the right of withdrawal runs 14 days from the first purchase, less the portion already used, and renewals do not count.
Candy Shorts discount code or Candy AI promo code?
Three discounts are documented, all printed on the plan cards as of October 19, 2026: 70% off the 12-month term, 35% off the 3-month term and 29% off a first month at $9.99. I have no promo code to hand you. A Candy AI promo code has to beat $3.99 a month to be worth your time, and that was the lowest price on the page. Is Candy AI worth it? For the Shorts alone, it depends on how many series you plan to finish. A free account covers the pilots, and my free episodes guide lists what plays before you spend anything. Pay when you have a series you want to see through, then match the plan to the habit.
If it is one series in one weekend, the $9.99 first month is the lowest outlay: a five-episode series costs 36 tokens and leaves 64. If it is a habit, the annual plan works out to about 50 cents an episode when you spend the allowance. If it is the Spicy shelf, Premium is a requirement, and the 50-token runs take two months or more. Skip Candy AI Premium if all you want is a verdict on the format. Two free episodes will give you that, and the price of being wrong is a couple of minutes.
