What the site does not collect
The site has no analytics, no tracking cookies and no ad networks. It has no comments, no accounts, no newsletter and no forms, so you cannot hand it your name or email address by accident. Fonts and images are served from the site's own domain, which means a page view does not send your visit to a font service or an image host.
The 18+ screen and your browser
When you open the site, an overlay asks you to confirm that you are an adult. If you confirm, your browser stores a small flag in localStorage, a storage area that lives inside the browser on your device. It is not a cookie, and the site receives none of it. The flag exists so the screen does not return on each page. Clear the site data in your browser settings and the screen asks again on your next visit.
Server logs
Like any website, this one runs on a web server that keeps standard logs. Entries in such logs typically include the IP address, the time, the page requested, the response code and the browser's user agent. The site uses them for security and for running the site, and keeps them only as long as needed to run and secure the site. They do not feed any analytics or advertising tool, because the site runs neither.
Links to Candy.ai
The links to Candy.ai carry tracking parameters from FirstPromoter, an affiliate tracking service. They tell Candy.ai that your visit came from this site, and the disclaimer explains the arrangement. After you click, you are on Candy.ai. What it and its tracking service collect is set by their own privacy documents, which this site does not control, so read those before you create an account or pay.
Readers under 18
The site is written for adults and is not aimed at anyone under 18. If you are younger than that, or younger than the legal age where you live, please leave.
Questions and requests
Because the site keeps so little, the server logs are the one record it holds about a visit. If you have a question about them, or want to ask about data tied to you, write to the contact address shown in the footer. Depending on where you live, the law may give you rights over personal data, and I will answer a request in line with them.
Changes to this policy
If the way the site handles data changes, for example by adding a tool that stores something, this page will be updated first, and the date at the top will change.
