Inside, the boss offers Harriet staff swag, shirts and hoodies kept for events. When she says she has to try one on, he promises to behave. Outside, colleagues gossip about how long the induction is taking, and their remarks about Harriet are catty. She comes out asking for a black one, since white adds weight on camera, swears at her boss and realizes it is her first day. His reply is that it suits her. The white shirt or the swearing, she wonders aloud, and the answer is "Both, actually."
