Her son asks him to take care of her before the house sells on Friday, and she has her own idea of what the job includes.
A Move With a Deadline
Rory flies home on Friday, so he asks his best friend to move his newly divorced mother out of the family house. Amanda treats the week as a farewell tour of the place, and she has picked her companion. It plays like a home-sale reality show in which the homeowner is auditioning the help, and Candy AI Shorts repeats Friday in both episodes as a ticking clock.
"Keep or Toss?": Episodes 1 and 2
I played both episodes in a row, logged in on a free Candy.ai account. In episode 1 the helper's voiceover comes first, then Amanda greets him: Rory said his best friend had a van, but not that he had grown up this much. Rory's own request follows, "Take care of my mom, bro," and Amanda asks the helper to tell her son she is in good hands.
She asks whether an item from the packing is keep or toss and adds that in twenty years her husband did not once look at her in it. Then she tells him to close his eyes, and to look. Next comes Tamsin, with a house showing ten minutes away and an offer to keep the visitors downstairs. She asks who the handsome helper is, says he looks good with his hands and warns the two of them not to have too much fun without her.
Amanda sighs that her husband would go crazy if he saw this, corrects herself to ex-husband and walks the helper into Rory's old room to move boxes. The episode ends on Rory's call: how is his mother holding up? She is in safe hands, the helper says, which is true in the least comforting way.
Episode 2 moves to the bedroom, today's job in the helper's voiceover. Amanda welcomes him back, asks for another ruling, approves his answer and remarks that a man like him has not been in her bedroom for a long time. Tamsin returns and tells the helper to call her when he is done with Amanda, since she has a use for those hands. Amanda asks whether Tamsin is trying to steal her helper, and Tamsin concedes she is hands off for now.
Then Amanda drops the banter. She needs him now, no one made her feel wanted in twenty years until him, and she repeats her son's instruction back as if it were written permission. The episode stops on the invitation. It is a small, neat loop: Rory's order opens the first episode and returns, twisted, as the last beat of the second.
Puns Do the Heavy Lifting
No nudity or sex appears in either episode. I rate the series heat 4, Steamy, on the strength of the paid run, and the free pair earns its share with wordplay. One running pun carries it: hands, praised, put to use and finally held off. Our heat scale guide shows what the rating means for Candy Shorts.
Amanda, Tamsin and the Man With the Van
Amanda is the divorced homeowner, and Tamsin says Amanda's name aloud in episode 1. Rory is a voice on the phone, flying home Friday. Tamsin arrives with the showing and a use for the helper's hands. The helper narrates and goes unnamed, a friend with a van. This is not a creator series: Amanda, Tamsin and the rest are original AI characters on Candy.ai.
Paying 36 Tokens to Finish the Move
Finishing costs three more episodes at 12 tokens each, 36 in all on October 19, 2026. What needs no token at all is covered in Is Candy AI Shorts Free?, and the Candy.ai pricing page covers the plans for the rest.
My verdict: it is a tidy countdown plot, and it works if you enjoy a host who is two steps ahead of her helper. Skip it if you want the story to go beyond an invitation before the paywall.
